Ron's Asonesprit model, Pentatonic
Vertical Russian Birch Temple Blocks
E, G#, B, C#, E :
Mounting Temple Blocks, and all percussion instruments, exactly where you need and want them is vital to most every percussionist/drummer.
Ron's stainless steel FlexMount hardware is an ideal tool for every creative performer who needs to set up in his or her own way.
Multiple Percussion work, studio work, competitive performing, and in ensembles of every kind and style, these can all require advanced performing skills and world class equipment.
Ron's BTp-5V's are another excellent example of the flexibility players have with his FlexMount system.
"It's an erector set for percussionists and drummers",
Ron says.
Ron first introduced Vertical Temple Blocks to players during studio and live work in the 1970's, often needing different set-ups. The demand was either to simply be able to play a unique Multiple Percussion part well, or to save studio time and costs to achieve more parts per track.
Ron adopted the original Ohm style ply block design to vertical blocks after working with his original Tp series Pro Temple blocks. The all-ply design delivered a good sound, and offered a much needed toughness for performance situations where loud dynamics were required.
Jazz and Latin venues are a perfect fit for these powerfully projecting Temple Blocks.
